The University of Humanities and Economics in Łódź took a strong second place in the non-public higher education institutions category of the nationwide ‘Open University 2025’ ranking. This outstanding result in this prestigious ranking formally confirms the AHE’s position as one of the most inclusive and student-friendly higher education institutions in Poland.
In the overall ranking of the non-public sector, the Łódź-based Academy secured a place on the podium, just behind the Kozminski University. This high ranking reflects the genuine commitment of the university’s management and the entire academic community to creating an environment that is free from barriers, safe and fully accessible to every participant in the educational process.
This distinction in the “Open University” ranking is not based solely on statistics. Above all, it stands as a testament to the implementation of high standards in the areas of equal treatment, combating exclusion and providing comprehensive support at every stage of study.
The ‘Open University’ initiative is run by the Student Parliament of the Republic of Poland. The main aim of the project is to monitor, identify and promote good practices in creating a safe and inclusive academic environment at Polish higher education institutions. The project is funded by earmarked funds from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
We warmly congratulate everyone who contributed to winning this prestigious award.
