We are delighted to invite you to our upcoming international conference, “One World, One Web, One Goal: Digital Safety for All” implemented under the SafeOnLine Erasmus+ project by seven European organizations from Cyprus, Irleand, France, Greece, Italy and Poland. This event is hosted by the University of Humanities and Economics in Łódź.
The conference aims to highlight cyberbullying phenomenon, digital dedicated tools to copy with it, teacher competency profiles to overcome issues, and performance-based assessment to create an inclusive learning environment for pupils experiencing digital exclusion and violence.
The project seeks to encourage and empower all students (incl. fewer opportunities) to react properly to cyberbullying incidents by providing them with the necessary skills, knowledge and competences to raise their self-esteem as well as to build the capacity of educators, school leaders and school staff to organize and implement activities to combat cyberbullying and improve their digital skills as well as resilience.
The main objective of the conference is to develop and implement a comprehensive program aimed at strengthening students’ digital safety skills. The focus lies on safe online behavior, prevention of cyberbullying, promoting digital well-being, and supporting schools in creating secure digital environments. The program also emphasizes teacher training, digital safety competency profiles, and performance-based assessment methods tailored to support students at risk of online harm and digital exclusion.
The conference will take place on 6th November 2025, at Arterion, 69/71 Pomorska Street, Łódź.
Participation in this international conference is FREE OF CHARGE.

Special guest:

Jacek Pyżalski is a Professor at the Faculty of Educational Studies at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. He has served as the originator, manager, and principal investigator of over sixty research projects, including prestigious international initiatives such as ECIP, EU Kids Online, ySkills (Horizon 2020), and Lights4Violence (Horizon 2020).
He has represented Poland in COST actions of the European Science Foundation and is the author of numerous publications, including the first scientific monograph on cyberbullying published on the Polish market. He currently serves as Vice-President of the Polish Society for Media Education and is a member of the Council of the Centre for Civic Education as well as the Programme Council of the Orange Foundation. Additionally, he is a member of the Committee on Pedagogical Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Team for Counteracting Behavioural Addictions at the National Centre for Counteracting Addictions.
Professor Pyżalski has received numerous awards for his scientific contributions, including the Prof. Tomasz Hofmokl Award in the "Information Society" (NASK) category and the Adam Mickiewicz University Centenary Award for "Excellence in Science – Usefulness in Practice." He has been recognized four times by the Chapter of the Polish Broad Alliance for the Dissemination of Digital Skills, earning a place on the list of 100 individuals who have significantly contributed to the development of digital competences in Poland (currently on the honorary list).
He is also the originator and editor of Poland’s first textbook on crisis remote education, titled Edukacja w czasach pandemii wirusa COVID-19. Z dystansem o tym, co robimy obecnie jako nauczyciele. For his outstanding work on behalf of children, he received the Alina Margolis-Edelman Special Award.
