The collection of the library includes over 51000 volumes. Aside from academic books and background papers from various fields of knowledge, it is worth mentioning the following: film collection (250 DVDs), extensive information resources (encyclopedias, lexicons, atlases, dictionaries), collection of global publications in the field of art as well as English and German literature classics in original language versions. The library has a subscription to ca. 90 magazine titles. We also have extensive electronic collections available within the frames of the Virtual Science Library project (e.g. Ebsco bases, Web of Knowledge, Scopus, Elsebvier) as well as ones purchased by the University such as: the Lex Omega and ibuk.pl base – academic online books available also from home computers.
