Dear Candidate

Thank you for your interest and application to study at AHE (The University of Humanities and Economics in Lodz), Poland. Further to your application we would be pleased to make you a conditional offer of a place on our Study in English Programme.

This offer is conditional on submitting the complete set of required documents. All diplomas must be properly legalized (or with apostille if applicable) in the country of their origin, translated into English or Polish.

  1. Application form as on our website.
  2. A Certificate of A level exams (in Polish "Matura") or equivalent certificate of having completed secondary/high education which entitles you to apply for undergraduate studies in your country. Please remember that Candidate's school leaving diploma or certificate must state clearly whether the Candidate can apply for studies in the country the diploma was issued. If it is not stated on the Candidate's diploma a counterpart institution or a local Educational Board can issue such a statement. Once the Candidate arrives in Poland the diploma needs to be nostrified by the Educational Board in Poland in the city where the university is based. This law applies to all foreign students wishing to pursue studies at any university in Poland.
  3. For both BA and MA Programmes in English candidates need to present a proof of a sufficient level of English to be able to continue studying in English. This includes certificates such as international exams - CPE, CAE, TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS, FCE. Any other certificate confirming level of English can be accepted after review.
    Candidates who comply with one of the following are exempt from this requirement: are native English speakers, completed A levels/secondary education conducted in English, are holders of BA diploma in English.
  4. For MA programme candidates shall submit an original or a certified copy of the undergraduate diploma BA.
  5. A certified copy of a foreign passport (Polish Citizens can submit ID)
  6. Making the payment of Application Fee and Tuition Fee for the first year.

Additionally, on arrival foreign candidates have to submit:

  • S Medical certificate with no contraindication for studying.
  • S 3 passport photographs
  • S Health and accident insurance (immediately after the arrival).
  • S Valid visa or Temporary Residence Permit / Karta Pobytu (immediately after the arrival) S Originals of the scanned documents sent before
